How Can Vomiting And Stomachache Be Treated?

My 28 year old daughter has been having GI issues for the last several years. She has an appointment tomorrow with a GI doctor. In the mean time she has taken Reglan and is still vomiting and having intense stomach pain. She has Zofran as well and was wondering if she should take it. She cannot keep much food down either and hasn t eaten since Friday.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management she can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
