How Can Vomiting And Stomach Ache After Recovering From Fever Be Treated?

Since yesterday my daughter is suffering from fever..I gave P 250 10ml as she is 5 n half years..then after no improvement my doc prescribed ibugesic plus of 7.5ml.i gave her at 8pm yesterday n again at 2.50am at night.Today no fever is normal.but she is doing vomotting n her stomach is paining so my doc prescribed Ondem n O2H but after taking O2H she vomitted.what to do now?

Hello,

Tried to determine what causes this vomiting and abdomen pain. You should have given me the weight of your child then I can calculate the dosage of Ibuprofen (present in Ibugesic).

Considering your child's age, the dosage of the ibuprofen should be 5mg/Kg every after 8 hours. Just multiply her weight with 5, gives you the dosage of Ibuprofen to be given her.

Try to adhere to the dose as much as possible. Actually, I suspect ibuprofen may because of abdominal pain.

You may ask her, is the vomit sour in taste or not? It may be due to extreme acidity in the stomach causing pain and vomiting.

So many drugs at once are also not good for her at this age. Adhere to the Ibuprofen dosage and may give antacid if she feels abdomen pain after taking Ibuprofen.
