General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If he has this serious gastritis with keflex, I understand it's would be wise to change the antibiotics. Inform your doctor about this as he may prescribe another drug as it's important to have antibiotics for a few days after surgery for an infected finger.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
