How Can Vomiting Along With Leg Cramps And Backache Be Treated?

Friday night I was severely ill. Vomiting...all night I had leg cramps. Yesterday I was still sick and still having leg cramps. Today I feel better but my sides in the back hurt when I cough or take a deep breath and I m still getting leg cramps though not as bad. Could this be something serious?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection. I suggest you to take anti inflammatory medication for the cramps such as Ibuprofen. You should also take an antacid like Omeprazole. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and and food that triggers the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
