General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are indicative of acute food poisoning. You can take an over-the-counter antiemetic like Zofran. Drink plenty of fluids containing electrolytes like Gatorade. Stay hydrated. Include more liquid diet like soup. You can try BRAT (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast) diet. It will take about 3 to 4 days for symptoms to completely subside.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
