Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there, about 3 years ago I lost the sight on my right eye. I had a retinal tear. When I went in for my operation the doctors I saw told me they were able to fix my sight but it won t be the same. I accepted that but when I went in for a follow up I was told that I had to go in for another operation. That surprised me. After my surgery they had told me that there wasn t anything else they could do and that there was to much scar tissue so I won t be able to see much from that eye anymore. I was devastated. Not once did they tell me that this was going to happened. I went to see my optometrist for an eye test and new prescription glasses and they were shocked at the mess they have done to my eye. I don t want to see the doctors again because I feel like I ve lost faith in them. I just wanted to get closure and answers really. Is there anyway to fix the damage they ve done or how I can get my sight back please. Thank you, Tanya
