How Can Vertigo Be Treated?

My mom is 91 years old suffering from vertigo. She was prescribed mezciline 25mg this week due to severe dizziness to be taken three times a day. Does this medicine cause numbness and tired muscles. She is feeling very week and her left leg is numb. It is frustrating because I have taken her to doctors and all the prescient for her dizziness is an aspirin. After numerous test, mris, ctscan, artery couppler, only diagnosed with thicking of her artery and prescribed aspirin. Are there doctors who specialize in dizziness. This affects her motor skills, eyes and head getting from the fro the of her forehead to the back of her head.
