Hello,

1. Is there any hearing problem?

2. Do you hear some high pitch sound, sometimes?

3. Do you feel any headache?

4. Please tell are you on any medication?

5. Any other symptoms do you face?

6. Do you feel any pain in the ear?

I would like to give some tests:

1. electronystagmography
2. Head CT
3. Complete Blood Test
4. Fasting Blood
5. Morning Blood Pressure of consecutive 3 days (If you use a digital machine, please measure 3 times per session).

I also like to start medication before it is too late:

1. Meclizine 25mg once a day.

Also, follow these guidelines:

Do not drive, walk without help, or operate heavy machinery when you are dizzy.

Move slowly when you move from one position to another position. Get up slowly from sitting or lying down. Sit or lie down right away if you feel dizzy.

Drink plenty of liquids. Liquids help prevent dehydration. Ask how much liquid to drink each day and which liquids are best for you.

Vestibular and balance rehabilitation therapy (VBRT) is used to teach you exercises to improve your balance and strength. These exercises may help decrease your vertigo and improve your balance.

Try to avoid sudden head movements. Stand up and lie down slowly. Raise and support your head when you lie down. Place pillows under your upper back and head or rest in a recliner.

Change your position often when you are lying down. Try not to lie with your head on the same side for long periods of time. Roll over slowly.

Please do the tests and post here in HCM. Here we have a skilled doctor. Anyone can follow you up and give you the next course of treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
