Hi,

Urinary inconsistency can be treated in diabetes, but we have to first analyse what the exact cause of the inconsitency.
Few Possible causes:

Urinary tract infection: As diabetics are more prone for infections it could be one of the symptom of infection- You need to undergo proper examnination by a urologist and consult the diabetologist also to have a track of your sugars and the treatment of diabetes. If it is because of UTI. Yes treating infection may help in reducing the symptom.

Neurogenic bladder: It can happen due to underlying diabetes. Long history of diabetes can effect the nervous system, which can effect your bladder control. Again you need to get examined by a urologist and take appropriate action.

Prostatomegaly: Enlarged prostate can also cause these symptoms.Again a proper examination need to be done by a urologist and treat it accordingly.

I would like to recommend you to visit a urologist and find the exact root cause and may be treatment approach will depend after the final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
