How Can Urinary Incontinence And Vaginal Spotting Be Treated?

I am a 53 year old female with occasional periods. I have lost the urge to urinate and have begun leaking urine. There does not appear to be blood in my urine. However blood has come out when I am not urinating. I originally thought it was my period. But, I don t think so anymore. I have no pain. What could it be? What kind of doctor should I see?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Based on the symptoms you have described, it appears that you need a clinical evaluation of genito-urinary system. Also, you may need an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and pelvis region to find out what could be the underlying cause. Kindly consult Gynecologist for proper evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
