How Can Uric Acid Levels Be Reduced?

Hi doctor, my husband has high uric acid levels for the last 6 months and now he started having joint pain and bodyaches. He has stopped eating red meats but he still eats eggs and soya foods. He had his uric acid checked last week and it s 7.9 so kindly give advices regarding diet and medication
