General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Such variations in lipid levels depend on various factors. However, overall your lipid levels are within an acceptable range. The increase in triglycerides levels is due to diabetes ( as you are taking insulin).

If you keep the sugar levels within the normal range, the triglycerides will get to normal again too. So, I just encourage you to continue like you are doing now, and to keep blood sugar under control.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
