How Can Transvaginal Mesh Erosion Be Managed?

I had POP repair (mesh) in May but am having the feeling that it is once again coming down. I see my OBGYN tomorrow and am just curious as to what can be done if I am also feeling some mesh protruding? His PA told me in November that he could probably just go in and snip it .

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, his PA is right. Mesh usually heals and stick to surrounding tissues. It is not possible for mesh to prolapse. So better to get it checked by your gynecologist. You might be having other organs prolapsing. If this is so then you will need revision surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
