How Can Toothache While Suffering From Chickenpox Be Treated?

Hello, I am suffering from chicken pox since 4 days and now after brief time I have toothache and that Front upper tooth have done root canal treatment 5 years back but there is gum abscess and again dentist told me to get RCT again about 75 days back. I have toothache and chicken pox now . What should I do ?

Thanks for the query..

Pain in your tooth is due to abscess formation only that is happening due to re-infection in tooth and until the tooth will be re-treated with root canal treatment the infection and pain will not completely subside.
As you have chicken pox right now and it is already four days you can wait for another one week and after that proceed for the re-root canal treatment of your tooth.
As of now you can take over the counter painkillers like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for pain relief..
You can also apply Lidocaine gel if there us a lump present over the gum due to abscess.
Do warm saline gargles..
Get the tooth treated after a week and also take a course of antibiotics for complete eradication of infection..
