How Can Thyroid Cancer Be Treated?

Hello, I was diagnosed with stage 3 Thyroid caner in July 2013. Had Radioactive isotopes 9/2013. Then I was dx with recurrent positive nodes for cancer and had a choice of additional surgery or alcohol ablation. I choose the ablation but have been back 3 or 4 times for positive nodes. I still have nodes that look just like my positive ones at level 1 and 2 but they wont bx them because I was told thyroid cancer does not spread upward only downward - is that true. my last ultra sound was 4 weeks ago and then up my synthroid to 336mcg on time a week and 224mcg 6 days a wk. Its been 3 yrs since my last body scan and she is not looking at doing another one. I already have had stage 1 invasive lobular breast cancer and DIC 15 months before being diagnosed with thyroid cancer follicular and pap
