i am 29 weeks pregnant and am experiencing pins and needles and swollen hands whilst in bed at night, i have it every time i wake up in the night whether it be once, twice or even four times. i have also been told that i am slightly anaemic too, is this anything to do with it? also i sometimes have tingling in my fingers in the day.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the tingling and paraesthesias might be related to anaemia.Take vit amin B 12 supplements like tablets daily and injections once weekly or according to your doctor.Nothing to worry.Take healthy nutritional diet like fruits, veggies, milk, meat, fish and eggs.It will subside.
Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
