Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! I had surgery to remove a fragmented bone spur from my left elbow two weeks ago. I returned to the doctor this past Tuesday to let him check swelling approximately the size of a golf ball at the surgical sight. He seems to think it is bursitis and prescribed a compression sleeve to reduce the swelling. But, on the contrary, the swelling is still the same after two days. what should I do?
There is possibility of post operative serous collection at the operated site. An ultrasound of the local area is best recommended to proceed for the further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
