How Can Swelling On The Face And Burning Sensation On The Palms And Feet Be Treated?

Sir My mother has been using avil plus dexa for many years. Previous week she encountered reaction from some medicines so she used avil plus dexa combination about daily or sometimes twice.. Now the reaction was treated but she is feeling swelling on her face sensation like needles piercing the whole body burning sensation in palms and feet.. On administration of two bottles RL all these symptoms subsided but she is feeling weakness but appetite is increasing.. Can u plz guide me with suitable cure or medication in this case

Hi,

Avil and dexamethasone may not be used for long term it may lead to fluid retention, hypertension, weight gain, prone to heart attack, immunosuppressants lead to prone for measles and chicken pox.

Burning sensation may be due to neuropthy or Avil induced liver toxicity or electrolyte imbalance, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use Pregabalin once daily for five days. Check for blood sugar levels,serum electrolytes and nerve conduction studies, kidney function tests.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
