How Can Swelling In The Clitoris Be Treated?

My boyfriend and I had sex multiple times Sunday, I orgasmed at least 4 times. Since then, my clitoris is swollen, and extremely sensitive. I just started a new job, and am unable to take time off to go to the OBGYN, and as you can guess, I do not want to go to the emergency room with this issue. Should I be considered that it is going on 4 days? What are some ways I can ease the pain and swelling? ( I ve tried an anti-itch vagisil cream, ice packs, Epsom salt bath, benadryl and ibuprofen)

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an infection. So in this case maybe prescribed antibiotics are needed. I suggest a visit to a gynecologist as soon as possible. Meanwhile continue using anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
