How Can Swelling In The Ankle Be Treated?
Hi. I work in a skilled nursing home and at work I had an incident where my ankle bent underneath an electric wheelchair. The rn wrapped my foot up and ive been home for about two hours. There is swelling and my toes now feel numb. Is it the bandage wrapping?

Hi,
Kindly do X-ray ankle joint after orthopedician consultation. Swelling may be due to fracture. You may require slab after consultation. You can take tablet Aceclofenac for pain and apply Diclofenac gel over it. Kindly keep slab as advised. Restrict your joints movements.
