How Can Swelling And Pain In The Groin Area Be Treated?

I pulled, or maybe tore my groin muscle yesterday. I was in severe pain but just dealt with it through the night did not sleep at all due to pain and having to sit in a chair. I just came back upstairs to try and go to bed and noticed that my feet were terribly swollen.

Hello,

Happily, a groin pull will usually heal on its own. You just need to give it some time and rest. To speed the healing, you can ice the inside of your thigh to reduce pain and swelling. Experts recommend doing it for 20 to 30 minutes every 3 to 4 hours for 2 to 3 days, or until the pain is gone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera,
