How Can Swelling And Bruising On The Buttocks Be Treated?
I fell down oak stairs in January and I still have a baseball size bump on my butt. After my fall my left buttock was extremely swollen and turned black. I have tried icing it, heat and some massage but it s still there. Now I m starting to get sciatic pain on that side. Is there anything that isn t surgery that can help?

In my opinion you will have to wait for the swelling to subside by itself , which is more likely to be only a resolving hematoma . If you get it emptied with syringe , it may reform. So just take anti inflammatory pain killers , do a hot fomentation and gluteal + Spinal Extension exercises.
