How Can Stomach Ache Be Treated?

My husband had a stomach ache in the middle of the night and after taking pepto bismol felt better. Today while at work he said he felt fine but after getting home and eating supper, he started having bad stomach pains, nausea and finally vomited. For the last three hours he s been feeling worse, complaining of severe stomach pain. Has tried taking pepto bismol, and an antacid, just in case, but nothing seems to help.

Hello
Welcome to
Healthcaremagic.com.
Going through your query it seems to me that your husband is suffering with acute Gastritis or even it can be food poisoning.

You need to keep him hydrated by plenty of fluids as he is loosing most of it by vomiting. To rehydrate your husband you need to mix ORS with water and ask him to drink
.
He must also avoid too spicy and oily foods for some time.

Any of the proto pump inhibitors will be more helpful like Esmoprazole and anti emmitic like domeparidone 10mg.

If the condition starts worsening you must take the help of Gastroenterologist.
Hope my answer will help you and don't hesitate to contact us if you are in need.
