How Can Spinal Disc Herniation Be Treated?

Hi I have been diagnosed with a herniated disc at the t11 and t12 site. It was explained to me that the space between these two sites basically has ruptured and spewed out matter into the left side pressing on nerve sites, causing great pain. I am presently on steroid medication to control the pain, but this is only a short term fix until I can figure out what are my options. Do you have any advice? Thank you. AMD. I didn t realize there was a charge for this info so please cancel this request. Thank you. AMD

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

At this point when anti-inflamatory drugs and corticosteroid aren't working, surgery is the only solution.

Hope I have answered the question.
