Hi,

As no any contraceptive gives 100% protection. So in case of missed period, kindly repeat urine pregnancy test after 7 days and ultrasound abdomen and pelvis after gynecologist consultation to rule out pregnancy. From next time avoid unprotected sex. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale,
