How Can Soreness In The Shoulder Joints Be Treated?
I was in a MVA and the air bag deployed 5 weeks ago. Gradually, since my left arm just below the shoulder joint has gotten sore and now i have trouble getting my shirt on and off, drying my hair, reaching back for the seat belt when driving. It is very sore. Not the shoulder, on top but just below. Any thoughts??
Yes, this condition is called frozen shoulder. There is a restriction of the movements of the shoulder. If there is an infection in the joint or the muscles then all this kind of problems arises.
So, you need to take antibiotics full course for that. You can take steroid infiltration to the shoulder and with a range of movement correction, they do it under local anesthesia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
