Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of soreness in the nostrils it seems that there is inflammation of the mucosa inside the nose and it is leading to pain, redness and irritation. It seems to be due to trauma to the delicate mucosa of the nose. I would suggest you to take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen. You can apply a steroid ointment inside the nose as well as you can also apply a thick coat of petroleum jelly for soothing and do cool compresses over the nose. If there is no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
