How Can Soreness And Redness In The Toe Be Treated?

my moms toes are sore and look to be red and pealing from the ends. She says they hurt to touch. this has been the case for several months and not any relief. The doctor treated her with gout meds but that didn t help and no she is seein an arthritis doctor but he is not much better. now her legs are ashing like her toes and she says they are becoming sore too. not as extreme as I might sound but still bothering her daily....

Also, check for peripheral vascular disease or other crystal-induced arthritis or connective tissue disorders or psoriatic arthritis or osteomyelitis etc.

Get it done color doppler of lower limbs, serum uric acid, ANA, synovial fluid aspiration and analysis etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your rheumatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
