How Can Soreness And Numbness In The Arm After A Wasp Sting Be Treated?

Hello. We have someone staying with us that was stung by an Asp Caterpillar. We used tape to remove the hairs then applied a baking soda paste. They have soreness in their armpit and some numbness of the arm. Sting was on the finger. Anything else we should do?

Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Thanks for posting on health magic. As history provided by you, the case needed an anti-inflammatory drug. I would recommend injection Pheniramine followed by oral tab.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dinesh Mehra , General & Family Physician
