How Can Sleep Apnea Be Managed With Medication?

I have sleep apnea and at this point I'm not able to use a CPAP machine. Are there any safe medications that help with breathing during sleep? I'm not looking for something to stimulate my alertness while I'm awake but something to counteract the mechanism of sleep apnea?

Hello,

Unfortunately, there are no medications for sleep apnea only the CPAP device. You should try hard to get used with the device absolutely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jnikolla,
