General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You can apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin after cleaning with soap and water. If there is signs of infection, you have to start on antibiotics preferably ampiclox.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
