How Can Sinusitis And Pain Above The Left Eye Be Treated?
Hi, I have severe sinus problems in my left side, pain over my left eye. Nurofen cold and flu tablets clear it, and sinutab. But it comes back. Pain is bad. My doctor gave me antibiotics but it didn't help. It helped while I was on them but after it came back. Can you help.
Hello dear,my name is dr,Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern. Some advices that I can give to you are: -Take Antibiotics. For acute sinusitis, you typically take them for 10-14 days. For chronic sinusitis, it might be longer. -Take Painkillers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. -Take decongestants . These meds lower the amount of mucus in the sinuses -If you've never been diagnosed with allergies, it might be worth doing some allergy testing to see if you have them. -Use a humidifier in rooms -Use warm heat -Try a nasal saline solution. Hope my answer was helpful,if you have any other question I will be glad to answer, thanks!
