My mum has severe spinal pain due to disk protrusion at C5 and C6. We are trying to manage pain with Ibuprofen, paracetamol and Gabapentin. Still she is in excruciating pain. Complication is that she has Parkinsons. Can we get an opiod introduced to manage the break through pain she experiences....over an above the normal pain.
