How Can Severe Shoulder Pain After An Injury Be Treated?

Hello I am having pain deep inside my shoulder. It has been long term pain. It started about 5 years ago. I did 6 months of physical therapy. It got better but has recently been much worse after throwing a lightweight ball at a high velocity. It is like a deep achy pain. It gets fatigued very very easily. With certain movements it feels as though it is sliding in and out of the socket. There is also tenderness. I have meloxicam from a previous injury that I have been taking, but it has not made any difference.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to blunt trauma.

For pain, you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require X-Ray of the affected shoulder for detailed clinical examination. After orthopedician consultation.

Restrict your movements. Use support while walking. Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
