How Can Severe Pain In The Lower Back And Appetite Loss Be Treated?

I am having severe lower back pain, on the left side...loss of appetite, and pain in the front abdominal area. Aleve seems to lessen the symptoms, but they do not go away. Eating something also seems to aggravate it. This has been for 24 hours. I do not have a temperature. History - I had an emergency sigmoid colectomy in 1999, and had 13 inches of colon removed - pathology was inconclusive but no cancer. Source of hole in colon was never determined.
