How Can Severe Pain In The Hand Be Treated?

I accidentally hit my arm off a metal casing to an elevator and noticed it instantly started to bruise underneath the skin, I didn’t think much of it. I noticed there was pain from it but I figured I had just bruised it. Since then roughly 2 hours later, I noticed a lump where I hit it and it’s red and hurts to turn my arm, raise it, or make a fist with my hand. I cannot turn my arm completely flat without radiating pain. The pain is very generalized to where I hit my arm. I can move my finger but I can’t pick up anything. Do i go to the doctor?
