How Can Severe Pain Due To Cervical Radiculitis And Spondylosis Be Treated?

this may be a little lengthy. I have, over a three year period, been diagnosed with facet sclerosis, cervical radiculitus, spondylosis with spurs, Bulging and herniated discs, lumbar degeneration, and it continues. i had a car wreck in 86, was never suppose to walk again. crushed ankles. and apparently much more. the man hit me doing 95 mph. i am not suppose to be here. God is the reason i am. I have suffered from unfound pain from that period on, along with being diagnosed with severe migraines classic w/aura, chronic asthma, bilateral foot impairment (of course) Gird, incontinence (at first thought to be over active bladder that did not add up), carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, first thought to be tendinitis. a and an unexplained loss of peripheral vision among other issues . osteoarthritis , none of the spinal conditions were found until after a mild stroke , an mri due to the mild stroke revealed what they called mild thinning of the right brain lining . possible causes: lime disease, prolonged severe migraines, and m.s. none of the findings begin until after that mri in 2014. are any of these issues liable to be repaired? considering age 51, ailments listed? and i am in excruciating pain ALL the time, the nuts i am dealing with just don t believe that , but i am living it. they are placing mild on everything they send to a judge reguarding x-rays. the thing is i have been going down for that whole 30 years and they are just starting to do what they should have been long ago. I am almost imobile, i have almost been homeless. and they are continuously playing with my life due to their inability to realize that every person on earth is different and my body is not in that book they studied. my pain is real. and i don t want to be in my condition, i never did. i have no medical insurance for lack of income. going crazy and need to know for me.

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Cervical radiculopathy may be treated with a combination of pain medications such as corticosteroids or non-steroidal pain medication like Ibuprofen or Naproxen and physical therapy. Steroids may be prescribed either orally or injected epidurally (into the space surrounding the dura, which is the membrane that surrounds the spinal cord).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
