I have advanced Lyme Disease, having not been diagnosed for over 25 years after the tick bite. Have had a very painful neuropathy in my legs for years, but then a few months ago I started nausea and vomiting. We flew in from Florida to New York to see my LYME doctor there, and he believes that all my itching and nausea are signs that neuropathy is everywhere now, despite my having received a lot of PO and IV meds since the diagnonsis. Today I telephoned him again, saying that I just cannot bear this nausea, and that my IM Zofran, PO Tigan, & Promethazine suppositories no longer work. Then the nurse asked me if I have been tested for H pylori. I was diagnosed with that up at Mayo Clinic one time, and then by our internist here in Melbourne. Is there anything you can suggest that might possibly help tone down this unbearable nausea? I am trying ginger beer, which we used to drink on the British freightors on which we used to travel to Liberia, W. A.
