How Can Severe Migraine Be Treated?

Was previously taking a Watson A349 (5mg Oxycodone, 325 acetaminophen) for migraine, sometimes two. Doc switched me to Actavis A333 (10mg oxycodone, 325 acetaminophen) and it did nothing for my pain the last 3 migraines. I ve made him aware of it, but he says sched2 s are too tightly regulated for a screwup or fraud. The pain don t lie. What s going on?

Hello,

I would suggest a medicine like Naxdom a combination of Naproxen, Domperidone. It is the preferred medicine for a headache. Triptans like zolmitriptan are also indicated and may help better than the combination mentioned by your doctor. You may discuss these options with your treating doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saumya Mittal
