How Can Severe Lower Backache Be Treated?

Hello, I was playing basketball and was simply going for a rebound when I experienced intense lower back pain. I had to stop playing and it hurts immensely to walk, bend or move at all. I ve never had back problems before, other than for a two week period last summer when I strained it installing a mailbox (trying to make sure the post was straight while it was already firmly in the ground). Can you give some advice as I can barely move at this point and I didn t experience a fall or a shot to the back. It it definitely the lower back and hurts more on the left side. Thank you.
