How Can Severe Earache And Sore Throat Be Treated?

I has a gastrocopy just over a week ago. During the procedure the sedation never worked (until after procedure). I did have 12 sprays of throat spray but gagged and reached so much during the procedure. The doctor ask me to stop gagging and reaching but I just could not so after had ear ache that went on and off. Suffered for a whole week! (was only expecting 24/48 hours) Had earache, serious sore throat, chest pains & generally felt I ll. Yesterday actually felt better for the first time in a week. But over night my earache is severe & unbearable. A few days ago I did had clear like slippery water fluid come from my ear. Would it have come on from so much reaching during Gastrocopy.

-Placing a warm moist washcloth over the affected ear may lessen pain
-Use pain medication
-if you don't get better in few days, consult a physician and get the antibiotics prescribed.
