How Can Severe Chills While Withdrawing From Prednisone Be Treated?
I am reducing Prednisone 20MG to 15 mg for 5 days, then 10 mg for 5 , then 5 MG for 5. For the past five nights I have had severe chills and violent shaking which lasts about 30 minutes. I use an electric blanket with 3 others to get warmed until it stops.how serious is this? Can I avoid it or is this a side effect Ii must except. I am 80 and was taking the medication for Ocular Myasthenia Gravis.
