My mother has late stage alzheimers and in a memory care unit of a nursing home. She has been prescribed risperidone because she was agitated at night. I have seen a huge decline since she started it. Then doctor took her off, she seemed better. But she was still agitated at night. so doctor put her back on it, now she has declined again. What other kind of medication could she try?
