Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Upto 40% of Alzheimer's patients may develop delirium with altered behaviour. They may went outside and unable to come back. Supportive and calm environment can also help someone recover from delirium. This includes: 1. a 24-hour clock and easily visible calendar,
2. Making sure that any hearing aids and glasses are working properly and being worn. 3. Avoiding unnecessary noise at night. 4. Not moving the person within and between wards unnecessarily. Treatment with drugs may depend upon the patient health condition and tendency to hurt other, etc. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
