How Can Red Itchy Bumps Behind The Knees And In The Armpits Be Treated?

I have been having red, itchy bumps breaking out behind my knees, under my breasts and in the armpit area. I have tried Aveeno oatmeal baths and calamine lotion for itching. It will help, but then it will flare up again, especially if it s hot. My dermatologist suggested using detergent and soap that is fragrance free. I ve done this for the past 3 months and it seems to be getting worse. My skin is now so dry. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,

The rash could be a miliaria (prickly heat). For dry skin, you continue using Aveeno oatmeal baths or any other moisturizing cream. Use dusting powder in sweat prone areas. Take cold showers. If your problem persists, do consult your Dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
