How Can Recurrent Vaginal Yeast Infection Be Treated?

Lately for the past few months I have been experiencing yeast infections a week before my period. I ve tried treating them with over the counter meds which is only temporary relief. No I have had two periods with in the past three weeks. Should I go to a doctor or no?

-pelvic examination
-per speculum examination
-pelvic USG
-vaginal swab if needed etc...

According to cause specific treatment given

For candiadiasis (thick curd like discharge present) intravaginal clindamycin tablet and oral fluconazole tablet given...

Rule out diabetes also if candiadiasis present

According to cause specific treatment given
If needed Hormonal pill prescribed for irregular menstruation (only if needed)
