How Can Recurrent Hernia Be Detected?

GOOD MORNING MY FRIEND,I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT THAT AND IF I HAVE DEVELOPED ANOTHER HERNIA.HOW WOULD I KNOW? CAUSE EVERY DR. HAS STATED THAT I DONT HAVE ONE, HOWEVER MY STOMACH IS PROTRUDING LIKE IM 5MMOS PREGO.I AM ALSO HAVING HARD TIMES MOVING MY WASTE (BOWEL MOVEMENT)OMG I ALSO HAVE A FEELING LIKE I AM CARRYING SOMETHING OR SOMEONE WHICH IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE,I MEAN I AM THE ONE NOT TO COMPLAIN BUT MR OR MRS DR. I THINK THE MESH HAS FAILED. OH I NEGLECTED TO TELL U THAT I HAD AN UMB HERNIA REPAIR IN 2014.THE INCISION THE DR MADE LED FROM MY BB TO AL MOST MY BREAST,WHY SHE MADE THAT LARGE INCISION ON ME IS IN MY BRAIN TO NO ADVAIL.SHE CLAIMS CUZ MY SOMETHING WAS WRAPPED AROUND MY INTESTINES OR VICE VERSA. I WENT BACK TO HER ABOUT 2MOS AGO & SHE SAID I DONT HAVE ANOTHER HERNIA BUT YET & STILL SHE CALLS ME BACK 2 DAYS LATER BUT I COULDNT ACCEPT HER CALL CUZ I WAS OOT.I TRIED CALLING HER BACK BUT THEY ALWAYS GOT SOME SORTA EXCUSE,MAAM SHES ON VAC AND OR OFFTHAT DAY ETC.DOC I KNOW MY BODY , I VE HAD CAT SCANS ,MRI S ETC. WHICH I REFUSE TO SUBJECT MY BODY TO MORE RADIATION,NO MORE. SO I AM GRATEFLL TO HAVE COME ACROSS U GUYS. SIGNED ,HELPPPP MEEE PLEASSEE.

Hello,

For diagnosis of hernia, CT scan is not required. You can consult a general surgeon. You have not given the location of hernia.

Now surgeon should palpate and find out bulging near scar and inguinal region. You have mentioned scar below breast so it can be near scar or normal in inguinal site and try to reduce it.

If it is reduced then it is confirmed that it is a reducible hernia.For treatment the only option is surgery. Accordingly surgeon can plan for operation since it is part of intestinal portion is bulging out.

For operation you can take laxative in empty stomach so it can be reduced.
