How Can Recurrent Cough And Wheezing In A Child Be Treated?
Hi. My son is 3.5 years of age and he suffers frequent coughs n colds with whizzing. He is advised to use inhalers @levolin thrice a day for one week and budecort twice a day for 3 months.Also L-Montus syrup for 3 months at bedtime.Is the prescribed treatment safe for him . Pls advice. Also do let me know if still the problem persists then what to do? Will it affect my child s physical and mental growth?

These drugs are commonly used for asthma in children. They are quite effective and safe to be used for long time in such cases. Generally, it does not cause any problem with the physical or mental growth of children.
