How Can Recurrent UTI S Be Treated?
I have a recurring uti that the dr said was caused by my bladder not completely emptying, and had recommended prostate surgery due to an enlarged prostate, saying this would stop the infections. I am not in my country now, and trying to avoid more infections until I return in almost 3 months. Can I take Dicloxacillin 500 mg 4 X day? I am a 70 yr old male with osteoarthritis.

first give your urine for routine microscopy and culture sensitivity. antibiotic will b prescribed after drug sensitivity report. till then u can take tab naproxen 50mg sos for pain n some urine alkalizer like syp citralka/citrasol.n drink plenty of fluids n pass urine frequently. better to take proper t/t by consulting gynecologist/physician ...and u can take one capsule doxycycline once in a month
