How Can Radiation Induced Kidney Bleeding Be Treated?

My father has kidney bleeding from radiation he received ago. He has been in the hospital for a month and they continue to do scopes but the bleeding just starts again after a day or two. He has had oxygen therapy and 3 way irrigation ran for weeks now. What procedure should they be trying to stop this bleeding?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello,

The next procedure to be done should be arterial embolization done by an interventional radiologist to block the bleeding artery in the kidney. that way the bleeding can be stopped permanently.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Manuel C See IV, Urologist
